Stephen's experience includes the preparation, assessment, and defense of claims involving variations, prolongation and disruption costs, disputed payments, final accounts, and counterclaims. He has also performed independent third-party expert determinations and provided commercial management, contract administration, and arbitration support services. His work spans infrastructure, building (residential, commercial, hospitality, and healthcare), aviation, and oil and gas projects, and includes experience with FIDIC, NEC, JCT, and bespoke forms of contract.
Stephen is recognized in the Lexology Index in the categories of Arbitration Expert Witnesses, Construction Experts, and Consulting Experts - Construction. He holds a BSc in Quantity Surveying and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a Fellow of the Chartered Institution of Quantity Surveyors.
