Larry Gregg joined J.S. Held in December of 2025 as part of J.S. Held's acquisition of GLI Advisors.
Larry brings over 20 years of combined architectural and construction experience. He graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Architecture degree and spent 12 years working in the architectural field in Chicago, IL, and Portland, OR. During this time, Larry developed a reputation for precision and attention to detail, producing technical documents while also managing construction administration.
After transitioning into construction, Larry became a licensed general contractor and successfully operated his own construction company before joining GLI Advisors in 2019. His unique ability to integrate architectural knowledge with hands-on construction experience enables him to serve as a highly effective Owner's Representative. This dual perspective allows Larry to guide projects seamlessly from design through completion, delivering exceptional value to clients.
Since 2019, Larry has contributed to the development of over 1,700 units of affordable housing, representing a value of more than $500 million. He is deeply skilled in predevelopment processes, assisting developers with integrating standards, MEP systems, building envelopes, and value engineering strategies. Additionally, Larry provides comprehensive construction administration services with a strong focus on constructability and problem-solving.
