Rajat Khandelwal has been a valued member of the Financial Investigations team at J.S. Held India since 2023. He has extensive experience in internal, tax, and statutory external audits.
Rajat was associated with Société Générale Bank for four years, where his primary focus was end-to-end risk-based audits of the Bank's Treasury, stock-broking, and equipment leasing business around KYC-AML, credit risk, market risk, and fraud risk. Previously, Rajat worked with an Indian accounting firm for three years, assisting in statutory audits of listed clients in the real estate and manufacturing sectors, as well as tax audits and tax litigations for clients in the aviation and manufacturing industries.
Rajat holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Banking and Finance from MDS University. He is proficient in Excel-based data analytics and comprehensively understands risk management frameworks, internal financial control, and regulatory compliance systems.
At J.S. Held, Rajat assists in reviewing and measuring large-loss commercial insurance claims and provides litigation support. He reviews and evaluates financial statements and transactional data to create comprehensive and detailed analyses, including financial information that measures business interruption, inventory, additional expenses, and property damage losses.
Rajat is fluent in English and Hindi and is extensively involved in loss assignments from the United States and Singapore, while having also worked in India.
