Christopher S. Baker has 24 years of experience as a senior investigator, fire scene investigator, and evidence technician serving the insurance industry. He has been the lead investigator or assisted in over 4,000 losses, including but not limited to residential, commercial, marine, chemical plants, heavy equipment, and vehicles. Chris also has technical experience with heavy equipment, having completed several hundred hours of training in this area. He has extensive experience as a project manager overseeing investigations of multi-million-dollar losses.
Chris has testified as an expert witness in state courts involving arson and other criminal matters, along with depositions in civil matters.
Chris is a Regional Fire O&C Practice Lead in the Fire Origin & Cause service line. He specializes in large commercial, industrial, and chemical plant fires. He is also an evidence technician for the insurance industry.
