William Pinzón Ayora is a Consultant in J.S. Held's Colombia office. In his role, William is responsible for creating and maintaining 3D models, collaborating with architects, engineers, and other members of the design and construction team, ensuring the models are accurate and meet project requirements, and using the models to identify and resolve conflicts or issues during the design phase.
William is proficient in tools like Revit, 3ds Max, Navisworks, Python, BIM360, Excel, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Xactimate. He is experienced in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), and Sustainable Projects,, having worked across Colombia, Canada, and the United States. BIM's utilization extends beyond mere modeling, encompassing critical functions such as constructability reviews, quantity take-offs, and cost estimating, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the construction lifecycle.
William holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering, both from Los Andes University in Colombia. He is fluent in Spanish, English, and Italian.
