Kevin Mandemaker specializes in the field of industrial hygiene and environmental health and safety management and consultation. With over 10 years of professional experience, Kevin provides consulting and expert services for a diverse group of clients. He has performed hundreds of environmental assessments, which include mold assessments, asbestos inspections, water and fire/smoke damage assessments, lead-based paint inspections, indoor air quality monitoring, personal air monitoring, and asbestos air monitoring.
Kevin has been involved in multiple catastrophe and emergency response projects, including Hurricane Laura (2020), Hurricane Delta (2020), Winter Storm Uri (2021), Hurricane Ida (2021), and Hawaii Wildfires (2024).
As an Environmental Scientist / Industrial Hygienist for J.S. Held’s Environmental Health & Safety team in the New York region, Kevin performs environmental assessments, including mold assessments, asbestos inspections, asbestos project monitoring, fire/combustion-by-product contamination, lead-based paint inspections, as well as personal air monitoring for worker exposure to lead and silica, and preparation of technical reports.
